Privacy & Cookie Policy
This policy explains what personal data OBUS collects when you use this website, why, and the rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Danish data-protection law.

Who we are
OBUS is a management consultancy based in Denmark and is the data controller for personal data processed through this website.

- Country: Denmark
What data we collect and why
1. Contact form
If you use the contact form or email us, we process the name, email address and message you provide, solely to respond to your enquiry. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering you and taking steps at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
2. Analytics (only with your consent)
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand, in aggregate, how the site is used so we can improve it. Analytics cookies and tracking are disabled by default and only run after you click Accept in the cookie banner (legal basis: consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). IP addresses are anonymised. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set. You can change your choice at any time via Cookie settings.
3. Server logs
Our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs (e.g. IP address, browser type, time of request) for security and reliability. These are processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Cookies we use
- Analytics cookies (Google Analytics): set only after you accept. Used to measure visits and usage. You can decline or withdraw at any time.
- Consent preference: we store your cookie choice in your browser's local storage so we don't ask again on every visit. This is strictly necessary and contains no personal data.
- Session cookie: if you log in to a client or owner area, a session cookie keeps you signed in. It is strictly necessary for that function.
Who we share data with
We do not sell your data. We use a small number of trusted processors to run the site:
- Hosting — our application and database are hosted in the EU (Frankfurt region).
- Google Analytics — only where you have given consent. Google may process data outside the EU under appropriate safeguards (EU Standard Contractual Clauses / the EU–US Data Privacy Framework).
How long we keep it
Enquiry messages are kept only as long as needed to handle your request and any follow-up, then deleted. Aggregated analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics configuration. Records required by Danish bookkeeping law are kept for the statutory period.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. To exercise any of these, email oliver@obus.dk.
If you believe we have not handled your data correctly, you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet), datatilsynet.dk.
